Munich, Innsbruck or Verona
Take the Brenner motorway A22 to the Bressanone / Val Pusteria exit. Continue along the Val Pusteria SS49 road towards Brunico. At Brunico, follow the signs towards Valle Aurina. After around 5 km, you will reach Gais. At the roundabout, take the first exit, turn left after the bridge and follow the hotel signs to Hotel Innerhofer.
From Venice
Take the A27 motorway towards Belluno and continue via Cortina d’Ampezzo to Dobbiaco.
From there, continue towards Brunico, turn off towards Valle Aurina before reaching Brunico and continue for around 5 km to Gais. From here, follow the directions above.
By train
The most convenient rail connection takes you to Fortezza station. From there, change to the train through the Val Pusteria towards Brunico/San Candido/Lienz. From Brunico, you can easily reach Gais on the 450 bus line towards Valle Aurina. Buses run approximately every 15 minutes to the “Gais Dorf” stop.
Südtirol Transfer
For the final kilometres to the hotel, you can also use the Südtirol Transfer service if you wish. The shuttle takes guests directly from the train stations in Bolzano, Merano, Malles, Bressanone, Brunico and San Candido, as well as from several long-distance coach stops, straight to the hotel – and back again after your holiday.

Local mobility
With the Plan de Corones Guest Pass, you can use all public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge during your stay. You can even use it for your arrival and departure. From Gais, Brunico can be reached every 30 minutes. From there, there are numerous connections to excursion destinations all across South Tyrol.

From there, Gais can easily be reached by hire car, train or bus. Many connections pass through Brunico, from where Gais is only a few kilometres away.
